About
So this is the first ever game I have managed to produce in Unity on my own. Although I did have some help with a few models and have based some of my code around the FPS tutorial that Unity used a while ago. Either way, I present Galaxy Smash. An FPS game with a twist. Your guns fling you forward, the idea actually came from a minecraft mod that one of my friends Chakyl made for the Sector Alpha minecraft server (of which I am the owner of) and with his permission, I decided to develop a version for the unity engine in 7dfps. Here is a video of the origonal Minecraft mod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbiKPL_fX8Q The results of this are in the download links above. I have not tested the Mac version and I designed the game with high resolution monitors in mind (I still need to learn a few things about the GUI). Multiplayer is in development but I doubt I will be able to get the multiplayer done for the 7dfps deadline (considering I am learning about unity networking as of right now). Either way, there is a tutorial level that is playable. Let me know what you think of the game idea and the tutorial. I wish to try and add multiplayer in the next few days and potentially develop the idea further. If you are interested in the project. I am currently in the process of developing new web software ( latest live version is here http://sasha.sector-alpha.net:8000/ ) and am intending on replacing the existing software on the websites www.sector-alpha.net and www.darkfieldgames.com. The best way to follow the project would be to follow my twitter feed http://twitter.com/cosmosquark or email me on cosmosquark@sector-alpha.net if you wish to contact me directly (feel free to visit the other sites I have mentioned btw, I use www.sector-alpha.net the most) P.S: best played on 1080p for the downloadable versions P.S: Yes I do still have some placeholder textures and sounds in the game. I got them from the unity FPS tutorial. I intend on replacing them with origional models if I was to ever commercially release this game. I got the game files from here

np, hope you like it. Currently in the process in my spare time of making a multiplayer build. If you are interested, I will announce on twitter when it is released https://twitter.com/cosmosquark Also, I apologise if the Linux build is not to great on the mouse, people have been reporting mouse sensitivity issues to me.

links should be working now.. there was a brief time when they were down for a little while. Also.. Once I finish off my web dev project, I will invest some time into making a multiplayer version of this game :)
