My 7DFPS game
Hi, my name is Josh Alcorn and I intend on starting a 2.5D sci fi stealth shooter from scratch using Unity 4.5.5f1, coding in C#, and making art using Photoshop. It's going to take place in a nightclub on the moon, and you play as a hit man who has to shuffle through a crowd of alien partygoers and take out a single target. It'll have some stealth elements in it and I know I'll have security guards who will try to kick you out or (if they see your weapon) kill you, but honestly I don't 100% know how the game will work yet, I'm just going to go with the flow. I'm actually going to start working on it tomorrow ( 11-6-14) because I have plans next Friday but I'll be sure to get it done in 7 days. I've made plenty of tiny little demos before but never a full game, so wish me luck!

Sounds interesting. What sort of implementation do you mean by 2.5D? Lots of people have lots of different ideas about what that means - people called our first person sprite based 7DFPS 2012 entry 2.5D, but people also call Trine 2.5D.

Welcome! Liking the plot, will their be optional ways to achieve the goals? I.e. different ways to take out the target?

@Cheeseness yeah there are a lot of definitions for 2.5D, mine is the Doom style, where all characters/weapons/pickups are 2D sprites and the actual level is 3D. @LokisSword not sure. right now I'm thinking about giving you a lazer pistol and you have to find a way to get him alone so nobody can see you take him out. Although I think it'd also be fun to give people the option to just run in guns blazing, so I might make the security guards a little less powerful.
