I'll be using my new game framework made in Java. It opens a Lua file and invokes a draw function every frame, so the game itself will be mostly Lua. I also just finished figuring out the sphinx speech recognition library and add a custom dictionary, so I might have some spell casting using your voice.
Framework: my custom framework
IDE/text editor: sublime text 2, Eclipse (If I need to tweak my engine)
Music: garageband (for IPad, it's the best I have)
Graphics: Paint.net, Blender
Sound effects: a sound effect generator
