Seizure day 1
So, not much to see, even though I've started early. So far I've written a few custom shaders to enable real-time recoloring of textures in time with the music, as should hopefully be obvious from the video. The rest of my time has so far been spent making a truly hideous enemy character model, because my art guy had more pressing concerns to attend to. So, programmer art it is, then.
As of right now, the game gives the impression that you are battling robotic laser vikings in a nightclub that would never pass code, and I suspect that's how it will remain. Hopefully I'll have a playable build ready tomorrow, featuring wacky bouncing cubes that will launch you into the air in time with the music. Also railguns and deadly lasers. It'll be awesome. Can't wait.
