No more Allegro, time for:
After writing a 3d billboard rendering thing in C++ via Allegro last year (which was pretty time consuming), it's time to move on to Unity. I've been toying with the idea of creating all content by myself this year for a while, and after moving from 3ds max to Blender (and thus creating some pretty cool usable models while trying it out) I figured that the best way to do this might be to create most art assets in advance. This would shift the focus to working almost exclusively on coding during the jam. We'll see what happens!
I'll be participating in both 7HFPS and 7DFPS, I might even try streaming the development during 7HFPS. If that works out I will consider streaming most of the 7DFPS development as well.
