7DFPS ...
Greetings all!
I'm signing up for the 7hfps! For this challenge, I aim to create a FPS drawn on HTML5 Canvas. Not WebGL, I've had WebGL crash my browser; I want to render this FPS just using the 2D HTML Canvas. It's going to be a challenge, and I admit it veers more towards technical challenge than an artistic one, but it's been something I want to do and it interests me. I'll aim to stream on Twitch TV or something, since I figure some of you may be interested. After the 7hfps, I'll see where I'm situated for the 7dfps. Either I'll be able to take the concept forward, or I'll try a different tack. We'll see. See you then!

Are you going to do it old school style like 2d raycasting? Like these? http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/3d-games-with-canvas-and-raycasting-part/ There is also a canvas renderer in http://threejs.org/ :)

Thanks for the info _discovery. I knew about the Opera articles, but not the library you linked. Truth is, I'm making this a learning experience for me, so I'll see how I go. When I start, I'll be broadcasting at http://www.justin.tv/sofox
